Recently I bought a bluetooth speaker. When I tried to connect my laptop (Dell XPS 13, Windows 10), at first there was no sound. I tried to disconnect the speaker in playback device in control panel. Then the speaker totally disappeared in playback device and I cannot find it anywhere.
Eventually I solved the problem using the method mentioned in the link below, quite useful! Basically the solution is to change the property of the bluetooth speaker and then it will reappear!

ReplyDeleteas might need to download dll files https://fix4dll.com/ to fix the error. Once I added the files, updated the plug-in and rebooted the computer, the speaker started working. I suppose this information will be useful to those who came across speaker setting as we did it)
